Rev. Joseph M. Mele presents The Eucharist: The Mystical Fire of Christ’s Charity
As Catholics, we say that what we behold at every Mass is the very reality of God’s own love. Over and over again, in the Eucharist, God gives of himself fully to us. We believe the Eucharist is too great, beautiful, and powerful to be described. It is “the ineffably perfect embodiment” of Christ’s love for each one of us, and in every Mass, Christ comes to us individually, with “a most ardent and personal love for each person present.” But what does that truly mean? Fr. Joe Mele will delve into these teachings as he helps us rediscover this precious treasure of our beautiful Faith.

Rev. Richard S. Jones, MDiv, MA, presents The Cross and Heaven: The Messiah’s Trademarks
The Christian life is living daily and fully the Paschal Mystery: the suffering, death, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus as a whole. St. Paul articulates the pattern of the Paschal Mystery in this way: “ We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be revealed in our body” ( 2 Corinthians 4:10). Each time we partake in the Holy Mass, the love of the crucified and risen Christ is conveyed to us as food and drink, so that we may follow him on the daily path, in concrete service to our brothers and sisters. Fr. Jones will discuss all of this and more.

Rev. Zachary A. Galiyas presents The Transforming Power of the Eucharist
The Eucharist is not just a "something" - it’s a "someone." Jesus is there in every Tabernacle, waiting for our presence so that he can be present to us. He longs for us to come to Mass and receive Holy Communion so that he can become one with us. And if we’re open to it, he can transform our lives through the Blessed Sacrament! Fr. Galiyas will discuss how the Eucharist can transform us and what that looks like.

Rev. Carmen A. D'Amico, MDiv, presents The Eucharist: Entering into the Paschal Mystery
The Eucharist is our participation in the Paschal Mystery - the Dying and Rising of Jesus. At Holy Communion we are challenged by our Lord to enter this mystery with him. Are we willing to make the commitment to die to ourselves and live for God? When we say, "Amen," we not only acknowledge the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, but we also agree to die to ourselves. Fr. D'Amico will discuss this and how it impacts our daily lives.

Dr. Janet M. Puppo, Ph.D., presents The Mystery of Faith: A Mystery of Trinitarian Love
The Eucharist is the revelation of God’s eternal and salvific plan for human history. As the center of ecclesial life, this sacrament of sacraments finds its origin, source and goal in the communion of love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. At each Eucharistic liturgy, the priest and the people acclaim this great mystery of faith, mysterium fidei, whereby those “called to the supper of the Lamb” become sharers in the divine life and love of the Trinity. Moreover, eucharistic communion is communion in the whole of redemptive reality: the love of the Blessed Trinity, the Incarnation, the Paschal Mystery, and eternal life in the most Blessed Trinity. This presentation will explore the mystery of faith as participation in the perfect communion of love of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Divine love descends to humanity in the Incarnate Word; accomplishes God’s salvific plan of redemption; gives Himself as the Bread of Life that those who eat of this Bread might live eternally in the intimacy of Trinitarian love.

Fr. James Chepponis presents The Eucharist: Singing our Faith
When we gather to celebrate the Mass, we receive the Eucharist in union with Christ and one another. Church documents discuss the importance of singing during the Communion procession as a way to express our unity and belief. How do the songs we sing express our faith in the Eucharist? Come prepared to sing!
