“Sunday is the day of the Resurrection, it is the day of Christians, it is our day” ~ St. Jerome
Whether or not you are able to attend Mass (due to illness or pandemic protocols), Sunday always remains a day of joy and rest because it is still the Lord’s Day. "Sharing in the Eucharist is the heart of Sunday, but the duty to keep Sunday holy cannot be reduced to this. In fact, the Lord’s Day is lived well if it is marked from beginning to end by grateful and active remembrance of God’s saving work." (Dies Domini 52)
Here are some ideas to help you keep the Lord's Day holy every week:
1) Pray Liturgy of the Hours, the only other official liturgy of the Church outside of the Mass!

2) Make a spiritual communion:
“My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.”
3) If unable to attend Mass, prayerfully watch Mass online and participate as if you were there.
